Who does it..
John has worked in the financial services sector for over 30 years, initially in general banking before specialising in operations management and re-engineering, lending and risk management. John has achieved the qualifications of Chartered Banker and also Professional Mortgage Adviser
Having worked throughout Scotland, John moved to look after sales and service of lending products for a major banking group in the offshore jurisdiction of Isle of Man. John returned to Scotland, and after running a hotel for a couple of years, was approached to join one of the fast expanding Alternative Finance/Peer 2 Peer Lenders, initially as a Relationship Director before being appointed the Regional Director for the North of the UK. During this time he also continued to act as a consultant to a small number of existing clients of his consultancy practice. As 2020 came to an end, and against the background of the many impacts Covid was having on businesses who needed access to lending facilities to allow their business to survive, and then thrive, John decided it was time to return to offering consultancy services full time, and enable more clients access to the wide selection of traditional, and specialist, lenders John had forged links with.
Patryk started his journey to being an entrepreneur early and by the age of 16 he already operated his own milkshake business at school, selling his product to fellow pupils. After leaving school Patryk went to University and graduated with a BA (Hons) Business Management with Marketing. Whilst at University, Patryk completed internships with HSBC, RBS, KPMG and Ernst & Young in accountancy and banking sector. In his 3rd year he even found time to become a mentor to first year students. In his 4th year Patryk co-founded a consultancy which aimed to foster connections between recent graduate students and the third sector.
After graduating, Patryk joined the Business Banking Compliance Team of a major High Street banking group, and while this grounding was beneficial, he quickly realised he wanted to move to a position where he could use his entrepreneurial skills, and focus on customer service, to better assist clients. John was initially Patryk’s mentor and he was soon asked by John, who identified Patryk’s determination to succeed coupled with his laser focus on customer satisfaction, to join his consultancy.
